Branch Executive and Reps

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Sussex UCU Branch plays a pivotal role in guiding the overall direction and activities of the union. Comprised of elected representatives from various academic and professional departments, the Executive oversees the strategic planning, decision-making, and day-to-day operations of the branch. They coordinate campaigns, negotiate with university management, and represent the interests of members on key issues such as pay, working conditions, and equality. Additionally, the Executive Committee liaises with external organizations, collaborates with other UCU branches, and ensures effective communication with members to foster a strong and inclusive union community.
